DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 or the Child Protection Policy (CPP), mandates DepEd to provide special protection to all learners against all forms of abuse, violence, exploitation, discrimination, bullying and other forms of abuse. In this regard, CPP mandates the conduct of information and education campaigns and capacity-building activities whether online or offline, promotion of positive and non violent discipline, conflict resolution and peer mediation for DepEd teaching and non-teaching personnel to fully understand and implement CPP
