Knowing that one is capable and possesses the required knowledge, skills and values will give him/her confidence to better serve his/her purpose. Being an educator requires personal and professional competencies anchored with intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to surpass all the challenges of the profession. Strong self-efficacy is one of the key factors that teachers must have.

Nowadays, dealing with demands and requirements in the system of education is really a challenge on the part of educators in fulfilling their functions. Cooperation and collaboration within the teachers will bring remarkable success in the Department, this is called collective teacher efficacy.

The achievement of the collective teacher efficacy within the school will potentially provide great impact on the learners’ achievement and performance. It will bring by strong teacher-pupil’s relationships and extend parental involvement in school programs and activities. If the teachers have deeper realization pertaining to this, they can demonstrate a well-rounded school that will produce globally competitive learners ready to accept life’s challenges and to achieve success in life.

Having this attitude, the teachers will not resist progress and development in education. They will gain confidence to execute innovative teaching methods, strategies and techniques that will cater the needs of 21st century learners. Holding one mission, vision and guided values will be the ladders to step in for educational success indeed for educators’ fulfillment and satisfaction. Working hand-and-hand with confidence of their potentialities and capabilities teachers will have the great tendency to perform and bring nothing but the best for the learners.

Identifying educator’s strengths and weaknesses will provide opportunity for effective self-reflection. Knowing one’s weaknesses and turning these to his/her strengths will contribute in addressing and solving educational hindrances resulting to triumph. Collective teacher efficacy should join with good relationship to the administration. Having good leadership and harmonious personal and professional relationship with the colleagues will result to clear vision, realization and attainment of main goals and objectives of the organization. Empathy and sympathy of a leader will help the teachers to make the profession comfortable for the teachers that give positive impacts to the learners.

Conspiring provide service and excellence that will allow opportunities for professional development. As educators vary in interpretations, experiences, needs and expertise they can share these meaningful components with their co-educators that will enhance and develop individual efficacy. Functional identification of priority needs will become possible, and will allow great tendency to be catered for the benefits of the learners at most. Addressing immediate needs of the educators will cease occurrence of future challenges. Waste thoughts will not be considered, in aiming for development there should be no room for regrets because teachers are dealing with limited resources.

Having strong collective teacher efficacy will eliminate the existence of negative attitudes and beliefs in terms of teaching and learning process. Because questions will be answered by collaborative efforts colleagues and administrators. Confusion will be eliminated and cleared through concrete ideas and experience leading to the achievement and success of the department.

Serious major educational challenges cannot be addressed by one’s thought and efforts but by combining knowledge, skills and values between the educator, thus applying their expertise will answer and come into the most effective plans and actions for execution that will bring appropriate and effective solution for every problem. Progress and development in terms of school and learners’ achievements and performance will measure the success and achievement of the set educational goals and objectives.

Teachers’ collective efficacy contributions do not only limit within the classroom and school but if this will be possessed by every department excellence in the service provided will be manifested and achieved. Great effort of one individual can make a change and development but collaborative ideas and actions will result to easier, faster and successful achievement of goals and objectives.
